Description

A nice proof of concept of how creative you can get with different patterns and a 90 degree V bit. I found that 0.25" stock is about as thin as I would push it, but once the 6 panels are glued up, it's plenty strong. Pushing the size bigger does increase the risk of material failure. I included files for a 3" cube and a 5" cube. Once cut, I recommend using nothing more than painters tape to provide the needed clamping force for assembly.

Notes & Instructions

The vectors should be sound. I recommend cutting the cross grain V contours all the way through before pocketing the hexagons. Leave some material on the with grain edges to provide material to hold it in place. I refined the order in the 5x5 file vs the smaller one. Just play with the toolpaths and see what works best for you!
